Structure and Designs
Each cake is made up of three layers of cake and two layers
of filling with the average height being 3 1/2 to 4 inches.
When cutting the cake the average size piece should be cut
1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. Dimensions of your cakes depend
on the number of people you are wanting to serve as well
as the number of cakes you desire.
You may choose a different cake flavor and filling for
each cake desired at no additional charge. The staff at
A Grande Finale Patisserie® is always able to help guide you in choosing
great combinations of cakes and fillings.
If you are using fresh flowers for your cake you may order
them through a florist you are already using. This way they
will coincide with your ceremony and reception flowers.
Please arrange to have the flowers delivered to A Grande Finale Patisserie® on the day preceding your wedding. You may also purchase
your own flowers and bring them directly to us, again, on
the preceding day. If you would like A Grande Finale Patisserie® to
provide the flowers, you will need to determine what your
budget is for the flowers plus a $25.00 charge for us to
purchase them. Again, there is no extra charge for A Grande Finale Patisserie® to arrange the flowers on your cake, this is included
in the base price.

Wedding cakes start with a base price per person and are
for round cakes. This includes either a standard buttercream
or rolled fondant icing, appropriate borders and the placement
of your fresh flowers. Anything added beyond the standard
finish, such as detailed buttercream designs, colored buttercream
or fondant, hand sculpted flowers or fondant decorations,
square or different shaped cakes will all increase the base
price of your cake.

Because design possibilities for your wedding cake are
endless, it is impossible for us to publish exact prices.
Please feel free to call us or stop by for a more accurate
quote on your particular design.
Delivery includes the set up of your wedding cake on the
cake table as well as the arranging of any appropriate items,
such as wine goblets, serving utensils and flowers.
A Grande Finale Patisserie® will coordinate the delivery time of your
cake with your caterer or your reception facility. We guarantee
your wedding cake will be delivered and set up at least
one hour before your reception is to begin. When your guests
walk in it will be the centerpiece of your reception!

To ensure that you will receive our undivided attention
on your wedding cake, we do limit the number of cakes that
we do over a particular weekend. Please plan to reserve
your wedding date at least three months in advance. If you
do not have that amount of time, be sure to call anyway.
We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
At A Grande Finale Patisserie® we offer a free consultation and a
sample of our cakes prior to booking. Please call us to
schedule your consultation. At this time we will let you
know what flavors are available for your free sample.
If you would like to reserve the date for your wedding
cake a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of the estimated total
is required. We are not able to hold your date without a
deposit.
TWO WEEKS prior to your wedding date the final balance
on your wedding cake is due. This will ensure that during
the very busy weeks leading up to your wedding day you will
not have to worry about your wedding cake, please leave
that to A Grande Finale Patisserie®.
